I blog a fair bit on London based designer The Fold because they have such lovely, unique dresses which are great for work. Even though I only buy them on sale, they're a little pricey. But if you can, they're worth checking out. I also love that they keep their classic silhouettes with new fabrics each season. One such silhouette is the Albemarle dress which is an a-dress with center front pleat and fitted bodice. It has a jacket that you wear on top (snaps in the back) that completely changes the look of the dress -- it is as if you have 2 dresses in one -- and you can see both ways here. I am wearing a size UK6 (look at the UK sizing charts) in a cobalt blue embroidered organza fabric. I don't see this fabric in this dress anymore, but is available as a skirt and top. I paired it with the M.Gemi Cammeo in taupe. I chose a 1/2 size up, as recommended by M. Gemi, and for the height of the heel these shoes are pretty comfortable (but remember, they're tall!). All in all it was a very lady-like look for a work lunch at the Langham in Pasadena.
