Jumpsuits & Sequins: Holiday Style Ideas

There are so many holiday events this time of year -- so many reasons for sequins and sparkle and feeling great in what you're wearing. To inspire you I am showing two very different looks! Which do you love?

First, a red, powerhouse look in the BH Jackie O jumpsuit. If you love the dress, the bodice is the same and it is paired with a high waist wide leg pant that makes even super short me look a little taller! It is in the same gorgeous gabardine woven fabric and fit as the dress. Try a similar look for less from cupcakes and cashmere  or a burgundy version from Lulus.

I wore this to the USC holiday party -- where I would normally always wear a dress -- and it was a huge hit! I paired it with Gold tone crystal earrings from Noir Jewelry (outnet sale, but sold-out), black Abel Jimmy Choo pumps with a glitter fabric (old, but try these). If you're feeling a little daring this season, try a jumpsuit for sure.

The second look is a sweet, lace and pink sequins one of a kind sample also from Black Halo.  This girly number didn't make it to production but I love, love it!

Here are some pink sequin options from topshop and Lulus.  Or try this Adrianna Papell lace crop top (so classy!) or a H&M bustier with a pink sequin skirt from asos, Alice+Olivia, or a $20 steal in gold from sheln.

I wore this for a dinner party with friends at my home where we served cheese (with 3 blind mice cheese knives!), a ham sandwich bar, and shrimp cocktail appetizers followed by wild alaskan salmon, prime rib, potatoes anna & cranberry champagne cocktails. I used my Great Grandmother and Grandmother's china for the first time with a centerpiece of silver candle holders surrounded by pine cones & winter greens. It was simple, elegant and meaningful. The gathering was a wonderful way to start the holiday weekend surrounded by my closest friends.

Wishing you and yours a safe, healthy, (warm) and wonderful holiday weekend surrounded by good food, lots of love, and a little bit of style! xox
